The informational and educational activity in the sphere of European integration, in particular, spreading of European values and successful European practices in different spheres in Ukraine is one of key directions of our activity.
We run this activity under the brand of the Center of European Information in Lviv. The Center was established with financial support of the International Renaissance Foundation on the base of Lviv Regional Universal Scientific Library. Since 2009 our organization administers and supports its activity in the framework of partnership agreement with the library. Annually we conduct a range of educational events on European issues for teachers and secondary schools’ pupils, librarians, journalists, cultural and national minorities from Lviv city and Lviv oblast. Each year we organize celebration of the Europe Day in one of the cities of oblast in cooperation with Lviv Oblast Institute of Post-Graduate Pedagogical Education. Oblast Forum of school European clubs is traditionally conducted within the celebration.
The Center of European Information in Lviv enters the Network of European Information Centers of Ukraine, that joins 15 such centers in different oblasts of Ukraine. So we have a possibility to implement network initiatives with wide geographical coverage, in which our organization is an initiator or regional partner.
